That's a wrap on the first GLAM-Show Tour of 2026, taking us to the sites of Northern Victoria! 🚘

Over two incredible days, we had the privilege of visiting Heathcote Historical Society, Rochester Sports Museum, Port of Echuca, Echuca Museum, and Nagambie Historical Society.

Thank you to everyone who opened their doors, shared their stories, and gave their time. The conversations we had across the region were a powerful reminder of just how much passion and dedication exists in our sector.

We are proud to announce that Duldig Studio museum + sculpture garden: has successfully achieved Reaccreditation through the Community Museum Accreditation Program (CMAP). πŸŽ‰

Duldig Studio was highly commended for its comprehensive Strategic Plan, which provides a solid foundation for the organisation's future. The reaccreditation process also highlighted the museum's strong external partnerships, noting successful collaborations with local government, educational institutions, and community groups that strengthen its integration into the broader sector.

Today is International Museum Day. πŸ›οΈ

Victoria is home to an extraordinary array of museums that empower people to see, understand and contribute to their communities and the world around them.

This week, we encourage everyone to step into a museum, explore the stories, connect with the staff and volunteers, and experience the important role museums play in community life.

Tomorrow, AMaGA Victoria kicks off our GLAM-Show Tour through Northern Victoria, where we’ll meet with members of Heathcote Historical Society, Rochester Sports Museum, Port of Echuca, and Nagambie Historical Society.

We remain committed to advocating for a strong and sustainable museum sector β€” one that ensures museums of all sizes can continue to connect communities with their stories.

Conflict in the workplace harms everyone involved.

Yet most of the frameworks our sector relies on weren't built with that reality in mind. πŸ›οΈ πŸ“‹

Following last year's Psychosocial Safety and Wellbeing in the GLAM Sector Symposium, Veronica Pardo returns to lead a masterclass on something our sector urgently needs: Transformational Conversations and Repair Post-Conflict.

This isn't a theoretical overview. It's a practical, research-grounded working session for GLAM leaders and staff who are ready to move beyond outdated conflict models and build something better.

You'll leave with:
- A clearer understanding of why conventional approaches fall short
- Evidence-based tools for navigating conflict with greater skill and care
- Practical frameworks you can apply in the complexity of real organisational life

πŸ“… Tuesday, 12 May | 1:00–4:00 pm | Online

If you're a GLAM professional committed to creating healthier, more resilient workplaces this session is for you.
