What an action-packed Cub Scout camp weekend!

From the moment we hit the road to Gilwell Park, our Cubs jumped into adventure mode—abseiling, flying fox, and even canoeing. They made their own wraps for lunch, cooked mini pizzas for dinner, and capped off the day with a night hike and movie.

After a cozy night under canvas, Sunday brought pancakes, pack-up, and a final challenge on the bouldering wall before heading home.

So proud of our Cubs for their teamwork, bravery, and big smiles all weekend long!

The Fitzroy Scout Group had an unforgettable night out in February cheering on Melbourne Victory!

From the electric atmosphere to the big plays on the field, it was a fantastic experience full of excitement, teamwork, and plenty of cheering.

Our Scouts had an action-packed time at the Gilweroo Activity Camp! From the water obstacle course and waterslides to archery, hatchet throwing, and laser tag — they tackled it all. And a proud moment for our group: one of our own was helping run an activity as a Venturer assistant. What an awesome weekend!

Our Cubs had an amazing time visiting Fitzroy Neighbourhood House, helping design tiles that will become part of the entrance to their new building. What a great way to give back and leave a lasting mark on our community!

Our Scouts spent the day at GWS Anderson Scout Camp learning some real outdoor essentials — building campfires (and cooking lunch on them!), mastering Trangia stoves, and even creating emergency shelters.
A full day of fun, teamwork, and learning new skills in the great outdoors! 🌿⛺
