As of today there have been changes to accessing Finley Hospital.
While the 3rd stage of redevelopment occurs.
Please see details below.

Changes to accessing Finley Hospital

Changes to the way you access Finley Hospital come into effect from today, Wednesday 27 May 2026.

The public entry to the main entry and Emergency Department (ED) will temporarily move to the eastern end of the hospital and is still accessible via Dawe Street (see map).

⚠️ Please note there will also be intermittent impacts associated with trenching works for a new fire hydrant main line from next Thursday, 5 June. Traffic control and signage will be in place to help maintain safe access around the hospital during these works.

The 24/7 ED and all hospital services will continue to operate as normal during the relocation and ongoing construction.

🚗 Parking along Dawe Street remains unchanged and is the closest option for accessing the hospital.

A drop-off and pick-up zone, along with accessible parking spaces, are available near the temporary main entry for those with limited mobility.

These temporary changes will remain in place during construction to ensure healthcare services continue safely.

We thank the community for your patience as we complete the redevelopment, expected in 2027.

💜 A Cervical Screening Test every 5 years is one of the best ways to protect yourself from cervical cancer.

It’s quick, simple and can detect early changes before they become serious.

If you're aged 25–74 and have a cervix, make sure you're up to date.

To check if you’re due, speak to your healthcare provider or visit the National Cancer Screening Register.

One test. Five years of peace of mind. 💜
