FROGY would like to congratulate Richard Faragher as the winner of the Knox City Council Volunteer of the Year. Richard's win is particularly meaningful for FROGY as he has assisted us on our journey right from the initial planning stages of our Friends Group in 2021, providing invaluable advice on all things related to setting up a friends group. To this day his efforts behind the scenes strongly support the work that we do and the continued transformation of the FROGY patch. A well deserved award Richard

On Saturday, a trio of our incredible volunteers dedicated their morning to planting, staking and protecting some plants in our ever growing patch 🌱
Being a volunteer group means that sometimes we may only have a small handful of people available for working bees but that just makes the effort and work they put in, even more incredible and special ❀️ you can show your gratitude for their hard work by visiting the FROGY patch and enjoying the beautiful bushland being created! 🌳
As always, please be respectful and take your rubbish home πŸ™ we look forward to seeing you 🐸

Yesterday, our wonderful volunteers braved the humidity and heat to come out and do some w**ding in our beloved patch πŸŒ±β›οΈπŸ’ͺ
We managed to fill multiple bags and bins of Kikuyu grass and other w**ds (as well as some overgrown indigenous Clematis that had become problematic) from the sides of the footpath, the creek bed sides and in the bushes 🌱πŸͺπŸŒ³

Thanks to all who came out and sweated with us for a couple of hours 🌞🌞πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅
