On Saturday, our wonderful volunteers once again gathered to continue the work of creating and maintaining the native flora at Chatham playground.ย

In total, 9 volunteers managed to get 180 plants in and filled two green waste bins with w**ds ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผย

We also welcomed some new faces along, a reward in it's own, knowing that many people within our community are keen to get involved! If you ever would like to join us on the 4th Saturday of every month, you will always be welcome ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผ

COMMUNITY PLANTING DAY 27.06.26.
On Saturday, FROGY had the pleasure of hosting three dignitaries: Paige Kennett (Mayor); Chris Duncan (Deputy Mayor); and Meagan Baker (Councillor Dobson Ward).
Special mention needs to go to Meagan Baker who did many hours of back breaking work!
A total of 1200 plants were planted with the help of 27 wonderful volunteers.
We are grateful for the contribution from our volunteers. Our volunteers make it all happen. Thank you so very much.๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š

FROGY would like to congratulate Richard Faragher as the winner of the Knox City Council Volunteer of the Year. Richard's win is particularly meaningful for FROGY as he has assisted us on our journey right from the initial planning stages of our Friends Group in 2021, providing invaluable advice on all things related to setting up a friends group. To this day his efforts behind the scenes strongly support the work that we do and the continued transformation of the FROGY patch. A well deserved award Richard
