While most people went away over the long weekend (myself included, apologies for the very late post 😬), a handful of our dedicated volunteers met once again for our monthly working bee.
These superstars spent their Saturday morning pulling out sharp buttercup and onion w**d, starting at the higher levels along the bank, then planting juncus in the newly bare patches 🌱
Tis the season for w**ds, especially for onion w**ds, now being the easiest time to pull them as they put most of their energy into flowering.
If you haven't made it to one of our working bees yet, this time of year is perfect as things are flowering and the winter blues are lifting 🌞 even if you just come for vibes and/or a chat, everyone is welcome! 💚🐸🌱
