There is no Boronia Library session this month. We'll be back in November. (Saturday 21 November).

Bring along your wobbly chairs, silent radios, torn jackets and blunt knives. Our volunteers will do their best to give them a second chance and keep them out of landfill. Repairs are free. If we get your item going again, a small donation is welcome, but there's never any pressure.

FIXED! A frilly fairy top and a fine fur coat for the 🐯🧚‍♀️

Knox Repair Cafe at Upper Ferntree Gully is the place to go for fabric repairs, find us at our NEW location: Coonara Community House on Saturday 10 October from 10am-12pm. This session previously happened at KES Knox Environment Society but we have outgrown this space and have moved just up the road.

Need to get the gardening gear sorted out? We can help with that! We can sharpen garden shears and secateurs, we'll even fix lawn mowers, but you'll still need to get in the actual weeds. Sorry.

We'd love to offer fabric repairs at our monthly Rowville Men’s Shed session, but we need a lovely new volunteer on the sewing machine...

If you've been looking for a way to give back to your community and divert waste from landfill, AND you know how to stitch up some britches we would love to hear from you!

We can't fix the game but we can fix furniture!

We usually take a break over long weekends but we're forging ahead and repairing your broken bits and pieces at Rowville Men’s Shed this Saturday from 10am-12pm.

Furniture, toys, electronics, appliances, knick knacks: if it's broken, we'll take a look at it!

Fixes are free, but donations are always appreciated.

Big announcement for our Ferntree Gully fans!
You can now find us at Coonara Community House on the second Saturday of each month. Same time, new home! We've moved just up the road from our previous spot at KES and we hope to see you at our next repair session for this particular location on the 10th of October.

Need something fixed before then?
We're at Boronia Library this Saturday 19 September then Rowville Men's Shed on Saturday the 26th of September. All Saturday sessions run from 10am-midday.

We're back at Boronia Library this Saturday!

Got a laptop or gadget that's not doin' so good? Come in and see Ben, our expert electronics repairer. Ben has been able to identify issues and replace parts on heaps of different small/medium sized electronics. Sometimes people will bring something in to be fixed, Ben locates the problem, tells the customer which specific part to buy and where to get it, and when they return with the right parts Ben can put everything in its right place!

These fixes can often happen over two sessions, considering the diagnostic and parts purchasing component with the actual fix to follow, but hey the price is right (free)!

We can also take a look at all the usual broken things from household appliances to fabrics. If it's broken, bring it in!

Our recent Saturday session at KES was a sentimental one, because it was our last repair cafe session at this location.

After incredible support since our very first planning meeting, we want to say a huge thank you to Richard and the Knox Environment Society team for being our first ever repair cafe location and our Project Partner right from the start.

KES welcomed us in, watched us grow, and helped make Knox Repair Cafe what it is today. We're so grateful for everything they've done for us.

The exciting news: we're moving to a bigger location so we can take on even more repairs and help even more of the community. Stay tuned for details on our new home.
