Hurray...another location! 🎉

Thanks to Your Library at Boronia and Team Leader Sherelle Furneaux we will be opening on July 18th 10am-12pm in the Community Room.

Many thanks to Mayor Paige Kennett - Knox Chandler Ward Councillor for a lot of behind the scenes work.

It is with heavy hearts that we farewell Dr Mark Glazebrook, the Founding Director and inspiration behind Knox Repair Cafe. Moving on to a new phase in life, Mark leaves behind a legacy of expertise, enthusiasm, mentoring and humanity. We owe Mark a huge debt of gratitude and wish him every happiness going forward.
Knox Repair Cafe will continue his good work and forge ahead over the coming years. Gone but never forgotten! 🙂

A few of the success stories from our Millers Homestead session today. ✂️

Alex taught 3 lovely ladies to create a patch pocket on a flannel shirt, re-elasticate a pair of pants, and finally used denim from an old pair of jeans to create a new gusset in a reusable shopping bag. 👖

Our Millers Homestead session is back tomorrow for fabric repairs. Bring along your ripped pants, or the costume that needs a new zipper (please bring the replacement zip with you), or the seat cushion or bag with busted straps — and our sewing volunteers will help you bring it back to life!
