We train Wednesday evenings 1800 - 2000.

The Heart of Exmouth Street Party is almost here!

At 4:30pm, the sirens will blare from all emergency services! Be aware if you don't like loud noises.

Our Emergency Services Building will be open from 3:00pm–6:00pm, with representatives from DFES, SES, Volunteer Fire & Rescue, Bush Fire Brigade, St Johns and The Bureau of Meteorology,
so, pop in and say G'day!

Before the WA vs QLD rivallry heats up for this weekend's AFL Grand Final, we'd like to acknowledge these amazing humans from the Queensland State Emergency Service, who arrived like Orange Angels to help with the damage caused by TC Narelle.

These volunteers gave their time and effort, cleaning up around the town of Exmouth, down to Coral Bay and Bullara Station and many places in between.

Absolute professionals and an inspiration to work with. We couldnt have done it without you.

Recently, Exmouth State Emergency Service as well as our buddies in Karratha State Emergency Service were awarded the Team Achievement Award at the 2026 WAFES Awards in recognition of our combined efforts in response to TC Narelle.

Our local team was directly involved in preparedness, impact and post‑impact response operations during Tropical Cyclone Narelle. We were later supported by personnel from Karratha SES, who arrived in style by helicopter once conditions allowed.

We're expecting some rain across Exmouth over the next 24 hours, with showers likely to become a little heavier at times.
If you're heading out, just take it easy on the roads, allow a little extra travel time, be mindful of flood ways and slowdown, and remember never to drive through floodwater.

At the 2026 Exmouth Community Volunteer and Sporting Awards, our unit was honoured to receive the Tropical Cyclone Helping Hands Group Award - recognition of the countless hours our volunteers put into preparing, responding and supporting the community during TC Narelle.

To top it off, our Team Leader Carl was awarded the TC Narelle Community Champion Award 🏆
A well-deserved recognition for someone who leads from the front, supports the team through every challenge and always puts community first.

We are incredibly proud of our crew and grateful to be part of such a supportive community.

Congratulations to all nominees and award recipients from the evening 👏🧡
