What do you get when you bring together 80 incredible social enterprises and over 1,000 passionate people? A day of hope and inspiration!

We're still completely overwhelmed by the energy and success of the Social Enterprise Festival on August 16th. The feedback has been outstanding, with a massive 99% of attendees and 100% of contributors (stallholders, volunteers, speakers, and sponsors) giving it top marks.

It’s feedback like this that makes all the hard work worth it:

We also heard from many of our attendees how thankful they were for the event's accessibility. Here’s a to do list for our 2025 Social Enterprise Festival:

1. Try using a range of power tools and pick up some practical skills for everyday fixes

2. Test your climate smarts via the interactive Climate Fresk Quiz with .org.au

3. Make your own pen or carabiner from recycled bottle tops and learn about the circular economy with .au

4. Try your hand at phone repairs and learn what it takes to bring devices back with

5. Craft your own reusable Bag for Good to take home and use with .co

6. Step into a virtual reality and explore social situations with a digital lens

7. Learn the art and mindfulness of African head wrapping in a culturally guided session with Wellbeing by SOTA & co.

8. Create mandalas and patterns from repurposed materials in a mindful play session (tip: download a stop motion app to see your designs come to life)

9. Tinker with tech, build with LEGO, and explore how inclusive futures are designed through play
