The Winter Solstice bonfire and lantern parade.

It has been a very tough year for so many in our community.
We invite you to join us to reflect on survival and embrace the challenges we all face in recovering from the fires.

There is light in the dark and we come together in support of one another.

Date: Friday 19th June
4pm -7pm
Come at 4pm if you are making your lantern.

We’ll be talking sowing grasslands, conditions for good germination, soil aeration, and wetland plants Monday June 1st. Then we will dive into a little wetland weeding and some hand planting of lilies Arthripodium fimbriatum 💜 Meet at picnic shelter 9.30, well finish up at 12.30, with morning tea in between 🫖

Seedbank work in May has been filling the many kgs of seed for direct seeding.
Most orders are 5+ kgs and are dipped like a tea bag into boiling water and then sit in smoke water before going into the dryer.
The final stage is the direct seeding. The final video shows Justus and Janet from years ago. Sadly their machine was destroyed in the Ruffy fire. This year Tammy Muir will be doing the direct seeding work.

EUROA SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS PRESENT NATURE DAY AT THE ARB.
Free event.
Come over to the Euroa Arboretum and enjoy a day of activities and connection to
nature after the bushfires.
Tea, coffee and cake will be available on the day for a donation. All donations will go
to BlazeAid.

Reconnect with nature have fun and be creative with friends.

Activities include:
- puppet making
- lantern making
- nature walks around the Arb
- insect walk
- birdwatching

PLEASE BRING WATER, COMFORTABLE WALKING SHOES, LUNCH AND DRESS
APPROPRIATE FOR WEATHER.
