Our final art piece to highlight this month at Yiiro is the beautiful Bird Bath – designed by Margie Young, mosaic artist from Benalla.
We love the Kookaburra as one of our popular local birds in Euroa.
This was also installed as part of the Mosaic Project.

What a lovely day to be in the garden. We are having a gather and grow today at 2pm after the rain on Sunday. We are planting spinach, spring onions and beetroots and refreshing the garden beds with compost and mulch. We'd love to see you there. You'll find us in Brock Street behind the pool.

Every 3rd Sunday, the Community Action Group members & friends get together for a “Gather & Grow” session, to tidy up the garden, w**d, plant new vegetables & plants, & do whatever else is needed. This last Sunday we had beautiful rain, so our session was postponed - we will be meeting this Thursday, 21 May, from 2pm instead. Please come along & join us! Stay as long as you like, or you are able; bring along gloves, trowels, secateurs & anything else you think you might need 🙂🪏🪴

The Blue Wren (made by well known local artist Steve Tobin) is the major art piece in Yiiro front garden bed.
The big sunflower is also an art piece installed by ECAG and contributed by Steve.
These pieces certainly add to the garden. Come down and visit and have a closer look!

Come and visit our Yiiro garden this month of May and take a look at the wonderful Mosaic Tiles and Mini Houses. These were all part of a project shared with ECAG, St John’s Primary School, Euroa Kindergarten and Granite Hill Aged Care, in 2024.

As we look at finalizing our next Strategic Plan we will be looking for another art project to collaborate on.

Reminder: our Gather N Grow will be on this Sunday May 17th from 10.00am at the Garden – we would love to see a few more hands on deck to help us with the replanting of the garden beds! 😀
