Our Mother’s Day Stall was a wonderful community success and we are so grateful for the support that helped us raise funds for the MPS through our delicious cakes, healthy plants, our 100 Clubs, Mother’s Day Baskets and the $100 Eugowra voucher. A heartfelt thank you goes to The Fat Parcel Food Van, Eugowra Newsagency & Supermarket, Head on In and Eugowra Craft on the Creek, for their ongoing kindness and support. We also warmly thank everyone who stopped by for a chat and purchased items from our stall. Congratulations to our winners mentioned in a previous post! Profits will go towards providing comfort and happiness for the residents of Eugowra MPS.

Today, with great pride our group placed a wreath on the Eugowra Cenotaph during the 11am Anzac Day Service. As the sun shone down on us and the palm trees stood tall, we paid our respects to the brave diggers who gave everything for our country. The ceremony was moving and uplifting, filled with heartfelt tributes, stirring words and a sense of mateship that brought our community together. It was wonderful to see so many of our members standing shoulder to shoulder, united in honouring the sacrifices made for Australia’s freedom and way of life. Lest we forget. Last Friday’s meeting got the creative juices flowing as we geared up for our Street Stall, happening Friday, 8th May from 8am till noon, right under the iconic Fat Parcel verandah. Lock it in—this is one community event you won’t want to miss!
Fancy your chances? Grab your raffle tickets for the fabulous Mother’s Day Basket, a $100 open order for Eugowra, and a shot at the 100 Club! Tickets are on sale Friday, 24th April at the Fat Parcel and on Saturday, 2nd May at Danny’s Supermarket and Newsagency—both mornings only and also available on the day of the stall. Don’t miss out!!

We kicked off the year with a warm chat, sharing stories and laughs before diving into the exciting task of planning how we can support our residents. The Auxiliary will be sponsoring hanging rails for the Arts Outwest vibrant wall art and we’ve confirmed the purchase of fourteen new dining chairs! These comfy new chairs, featuring front wheels for easy movement and having cheerful colours and designs, are sure to please. After all the planning, we enjoyed some tasty snacks and a good yarn. We’d love for you to join us at our next meeting at 2pm on Friday, 20th March at the MPS—hope to see you there!
