Keith Farquhar Rover Crew

Keith Farquhar Rover Crew Keith Farquhar Rovers are a district Rover crew for the Moonee Valley District, Lerderderg Region, Victoria who meet on Fridays generally from 7:30pm.

Rovers are young adults aged 18 - 26 involved in Scouting. We meet socially most Friday nights of the year, often at our den at St John's Uniting Church in Essendon. The Rover Creed is 'Service' and Keith Farquhar Rovers aim to fulfil this duty to the Scouting community (and the wider community). We aim to challenge ourselves and develop new skills but most importantly enjoying ourselves. Our memb

ers are also involved in a range of other activities such as the Melbourne Gang Show and various committees. We have also have a buggy, All Barred Up, which we race in Rover Scout Motorsport events such as Mudbash.

Mucked Up Tails Catering!! 🍴🔥

A few weeks ago, the crew dedicated their time to catering for 150 people at Mucked Up Tails! If you don’t already know, MUT is a Venturer-led camp for Scouts, giving Venturers the chance to take the lead and put their skills into action. A massive effort from everyone involved, we’re stoked to be able to support such a great event year after year.

Out with the old and in with the new!

Last week we held our AGM, where we reflected on an incredible year and welcomed our new Executive Committee and Extended Unit Council. Everyone say hello to the team leading Keith Farquhar Rovers into the next year! 👋

Week 1 and 4 saw a combined total of 8 KFRC members at the Bogong Rover Chalet ⛷️❄️🥾🏴‍☠️

We’re proud to announce that our very own David, Ollie and Josh (despite being Bogong chair..) are now officially alpine rovers! Even though snow might’ve been low on week 1 the vibes were definitely not. Both weeks got to enjoy the beautiful Bogong high plains, make new friends and create endless memories!

See you next year 😉

Over the long weekend, the crew headed to Clifford Park for our very own Crew Bash 🏕️✨
We proudly invested Sam, Jess, Zach and David into the crew at Olinda Falls! The crew explored the Yarra Ranges, stopping in at the chocolaterie and local shops (mainly op shops)! Looking forward to returning in the summer ☀️

Sunday saw some of our crew head out to Pakenham for RSM Race Day 🏁

Plenty of racing action and good vibes on track until the rain decided to cut things short and bring the day to an early finish 🌧️🏎️

Marching with pride this ANZAC Day!

Our Rover Crew was proud to assist in today’s parade, supporting the event as our small way of honouring those who came before us. We pay tribute to the ANZAC soldiers and remember the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of all who served and those who gave their lives.

Lest we forget.

We’re proud to share that the Mafeking Bushfire
Recovery badge has been released today as part of our fundraising efforts. This badge is a powerful way to show our support for Mafeking as it begins its next chapter.
