We've achieved something remarkable, raising $3,700 to support the vital work of the Great Southern Reef Foundation in safeguarding our ocean's future.

Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to the Earth. Ocean. Weave. exhibition: the talented artists, everyone who purchased an artwork, Esperance Community Arts, the Cannery Arts Centre, and the Great Southern Reef Foundation - this result is a testament to the power of community.

Earth.Ocean.Weave. will have it's last day on display in the Art Room at the Cannery Arts Centre this Saturday 20 May.

Indulge in the awesomeness of these gorgeous silent auction pieces at the Earth. Ocean. Weave. exhibition at the Cannery Arts Centre

Every piece in Earth. Ocean. Weave. contains a fragment of the 10 Mile story.

What began as a huge community clean-up effort in 2024, after masses of rope washed ashore at 10 Mile Lagoon has now become a powerful collection of artworks supporting marine conservation.

This is the first major exhibition from The 10 Mile Collective since 2024 — and already more than half the exhibition has sold.

Visitors are not only purchasing beautiful artworks, but becoming part of the story of restoring and caring for our coastline.

Massive shout out to Michelle Crisp for all her hard work in helping this come together.

This little cutie is one of my favourites. I can't believe it hasn't sold yet!

It features a gorgeous painted fish nestled inside and copper wire twirls on top.

There are still lots of amazing artworks that need to find their forever home. And remember, 100% of profits will be donated to the Great Southern Reef Foundation to support their awesome work protecting our ocean and each purchase puts you in the draw to win the limited edition Amok Island print valued at $250.

There is only one week of the Earth. Ocean. Weave. exhibition remaining, so make sure you take the time to visit the Cannery Arts Centre before it's too late.

Earth. Ocean. Weave. is now showing at the Cannery Arts Centre — and the response has been incredible.

Over half of the woven ceramic vessels have already sold, with visitors deeply connecting to the story behind the works and the transformation of marine debris into art.

Created from reclaimed rope collected at 10 Mile Lagoon, under the guidance of Naomi Stanizki , Michelle Crisp and Jess Le Monier, each collaborative artwork created by the community, carries a story of community, creativity, and care for our coastline.

If you’ve been meaning to come through, now is the time — many pieces are finding new homes quickly.

Come down to our Art Room Gallery and explore this community led exhibition by Esperance Community Arts in collaboration with the 10 Mile Collection.

Take some time to find your favourite pot, weave rope into the whale tale artwork, or help brainstorm ways that we can reduce the amount of plastic that ends up in our oceans.
