🎣 Gone Fishing Day 2025 – Catch a Carp at Cairn Curran Reservoir! 🎣

What a great day for a fish at the res! Over 30 members turned up to have a crack at helping us rid our waterways of carp — a fantastic effort from everyone involved 👏

A huge thanks to Josh Zhou (Project Officer, OzFish) and Andy Foudoulis (Project Manager) for their support, and a special shout-out to our awesome volunteers Sean Crombie and Brian Jarvis for lending a hand on the day.

Events like this show the strength of our community and the passion we all share for improving local fish habitats and waterways across the Campaspe Loddon region. 🌿🐟

Keep an eye out — our AGM will be scheduled in the coming weeks for November. We’re currently seeking nominations for office bearers and committee members to help us run even more great events like this in the year ahead.

Thanks again to all who came along — and tight lines until next time!
