The AAC is a community based, Defence sponsored youth development organisation that provides adventurous and educational military-based like training. We teach young Australians, aged between 13-17 years of age, the values of the Australian Army; Service, Courage, Respec

From exciting training exercises to community outreach initiatives, we believe in sharing the moments that shape us into tomorrow's leaders. The Unit parades on Monday nights from 1800h to 2100h (6:00pm to 9:00pm) during the QLD school terms. On average one weekend activity is held a term, with the unit usually occupying a bush training area held in various locations, such as: Gallipoli Barracks, South Brisbane to Sunshine Coast. There is also additional activities events held at a Brigade and National level, such as Leadership Courses and advanced adventurous activities. As part of our larger cadet family, we foster a spirit of camaraderie, encouraging lifelong friendships and connections. Together, we create an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and make a positive impact.
