This weekend’s Red Shield Appeal is a wonderful opportunity for us to give back and support the vital work they do in our community. A massive thank you to Victoria, Luke, and Holly, plus staff, Jade, Laura, and Kasha, for volunteering their time in Engadine to help such a worthy cause ❤️

A heartfelt acknowledgment goes out to the Craft Committee at Anglicare Donald Robinson Village for their incredible generosity! They recently spent hours hand-making beautiful blankets to keep our young people (and even a few lucky staff members!) cosy and warm this winter.

The blankets have already found their way into our residential spaces and are being put to good use!

We are grateful for our community and the love poured into every stitch ❤️

From Residential Student to Day Student Success!

Congratulations to Holly on graduating from our Residential Program! While the program typically takes 12 to 18 months to complete, Holly’s extraordinary hard work allowed her to graduate in just eight months.

This achievement was a collective family effort supported by Clinician Kasha - well done to everyone involved! 👏👏

Today, our seniors attended the Sutherland Shire Careers Information Day.

This event attracts over 2,000 students, connecting them with tertiary institutions and employers to plan future paths 🌅

We thank our new Careers Advisor, teacher Brad, and Clinicians Kasha and Sage for facilitating this day.

“They gave their tomorrow for our today.”

In 1941, representatives from Boys’ Town Meat & Allied Trades began raising funds to build the War Memorial Hospital - a hospital dedicated to the memory of the trade industry’s servicemen. The Memorial Gates, dedicated in 1943, still stand today as a testament to our community’s dogged support for our armed services and our commitment to protecting future generations from the ravages of war.

Special thanks to Dana, Dunlea’s Heritage Steward, for organising today’s wreaths at our site and the Engadine cenotaph. A beautiful tribute for this morning’s Dawn Service.
