Thinking about Senior Schooling? If you’re a Year 10 student mapping out your future, or a parent/carer supporting them through the process, Dunlea Centre helps students complete their Higher School Certificate (HSC) at their own pace in a smaller, more supportive setting.

Whether the goal is university, vocational training, or jumping straight into the workforce, we offer a flexible environment designed around what each student needs to achieve their best.

This educational program is unique, and places are limited.

Congratulations and thank you to our students and staff for their dedication and participation in Bullying No Way Week at Dunlea Centre. Guided by this year’s theme, Small Acts, Big Impact, our staff led daily challenges and thoughtful discussions throughout the week.

At the same time, our young people actively put positive actions into practice, reflecting on how everyday choices - like showing kindness, checking in on a friend, including someone left out, or speaking up - can make a massive difference.

This week, some of our amazing senior students, along with staff members Ben and Jordan, cooked up a delicious batch of freezer meals to support the Shire Salvos Heathcote Community of HOPE store.

A huge thank you to these young people for rolling up their sleeves, showing true leadership, and giving back to the community in such a thoughtful and practical way!

Today, our Year 12s received their Senior Jackets 🎓

Starting their journey in our Residential Program and successfully transitioning into Day Students, these young people have shown so much growth and resilience.

We’re incredibly proud of how far they’ve come and look forward to supporting them every step of the way as they finish out their final year!

Big shoutout to Holly, one of our bright high school students! As part of her learning journey, Holly has been completing work experience right here at Dunlea Centre once a week in our Primary Program. She is doing an amazing job, and both our staff and her peers love having her in their classroom.

Exciting news for our staff and coffee lovers! Dunlea Café is evolving into a structured, three-week program designed to give our young people valuable, real-world, hands-on experience.

Under the guidance of Finn and Brady, participating students will learn key customer service, operational, and organisational skills, earning a resume-boosting certificate upon completion.

Initial feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we can’t wait to see our students excel!

are incredible supporters of Dunlea Centre, providing monthly lunches for students and staff, as well as Christmas Hampers and Toy Drives for our families in need.

This weekend’s Red Shield Appeal is a wonderful opportunity for us to give back and support the vital work they do in our community. A massive thank you to Victoria, Luke, and Holly, plus staff, Jade, Laura, and Kasha, for volunteering their time in Engadine to help such a worthy cause ❤️

A heartfelt acknowledgment goes out to the Craft Committee at Anglicare Donald Robinson Village for their incredible generosity! They recently spent hours hand-making beautiful blankets to keep our young people (and even a few lucky staff members!) cosy and warm this winter.

The blankets have already found their way into our residential spaces and are being put to good use!

We are grateful for our community and the love poured into every stitch ❤️
