Emerald Hire is Open for Business!

It has come to our attention that there has been some talk in the community that we are no longer open.
We can assure you all that this is not the case and that Emerald Hire is very much open and operating!

We have some machines that are currently being repaired but we are hopeful that we will have them all up and running again soon.

Don’t forget we also have mulch and firewood for sale on site, so come and visit us and stock up on mulch for the garden or firewood for the winter!

We thank all who attended the Ash Wednesday 40th Commemoration Service on Sunday. From the approx. 700 hundred who attended in person predominately CFA volunteers and their families, to the 1500 people from across the world who watched the live stream. What a day for reflection, remembrance and thanks to all who volunteer their time no matter which emergency service they belong to. However, mostly to those brave persons who were there as it unfolded on the 16th of Feb 1983.

The live stream has been saved into a video for viewing into the future. You will find a link pinned to the top of our page.

If you couldn't attend, or missed the opportunity, we do have a supply of the official commemorative booklets available free of charge. Just call in any Sunday, we are open from 11.00am Until 3.00pm

Our centre will be open on Thursday the 16th of February between 4pm and 7pm for anyone who wishes to reflect and remember. Our memorial garden is always open at any time.

Our centre is at 2 McBride Street, Cockatoo (Corner of Pakenham Rd & McBride Street)
