Joeys - Wednesdays 6.00pm - 7.00pm
Cubs - Mondays 7.00pm - 8.30pm
Scouts - Thursdays 7.00pm to 9.00pm
Venturers - Our Venturers attend JETS, Upper Beaconsfield and Selby Units
Rovers - Ogilvy Rover Crew (ORC) - Thursdays 7.30pm. Our hall is nestled within Hogan Park off Kilvington Drive, right next to Puffing Billy Railway.

1st Emerald Scout Group is the oldest

scout group in the Dandenong ranges. Mark.s church and since then hundreds of families have been parts of this group. Danne attended the first wood badge training course held at Lilydale in 1925. The following year, Gilwell Park, Gembrook was established. In 1958 1st Emerald Scout Group moved from St. Marks to its present location in Kilvington Drive at Hogan Park. In the early 1970's the hall was extended to include a conference and storage rooms, plus a kitchen and toilets. In 1998 as part of the groups 75-year anniversary the hall had a major upgrade with the help of the local Rotary club and parents. The hall was painted inside and outside. This with previous years improvements, new floor, lighting, gas heating, new toilets, kitchen makeover, made the hall good as new. The hall was named the Gus Ryberg, in honour of Gus Ryberg for his commitment to the local community. Gus was part of 1st Emerald's first intake of Scouts in 1923. The hall dedication was made by the Groups first Queen Scout (1954) and Local Councillor Cr. Graeme Legge, also present was Cley Worrell, another member of the original enrolment of 1923.

We are proud to be hosting the BBQ breakfast for ANZAC Day - a very important day on the Scouting calendar where we can pause, reflect and pay our respects. Come along to the Emerald RSL Sub-Branch Inc. Dawn Service from 5am this Saturday 25th April. Our volunteers will be serving up delicous Egg & Bacon Sandwiches for $7 - payments can be via cash or Eftpos. Lest We Forget.

We are pleased to share that we have SOLD OUT of Trees for this season. Thank you for all of your support once again. And a bigger thanks to the local community who donated nearly $700 to go towards our Christmas Hampers for families in need. We will be making these special deliveries during the week. We are so excited to be kicking off our Christmas Tree sales this weekend! We received our first delivery of trees last night and they are looking beautiful as always. Get along to choose your perfect tree. Pre-orders or phone orders are welcome, delivery and eftpos available. Contact us via DM if we can assist you over the weekend. Don't forget we will be accepting non-perishable, festive donations for our Hamper drive to support local families in need, in partnership with local businesses and Fernlea Community House. Donations can be made during tree sales, at Fernlea Community House and Emerald Library during their opening hours.
