In 2029, something pretty incredible will happen.

Emerald will celebrate its 100th Show.

One hundred Shows. Generations of competitors, volunteers, families, farmers, businesses, showmen and community members who have all played a part in our story.

Yes, we know it’s two years away but look how fast this year has flown by! So today we’re launching something that you’ll be hearing a lot more about:

OUR SHOW. OUR STORY. OUR 100TH.

We’ll be asking you to share your memories, your ideas and even your completely crazy suggestions for what our 100th could become.

And it all starts next Monday.

💚 Emerald, get ready. We’re going to need your help.

This is the kind of stuff we LOVE being able to do! 💚

The Emerald Show Society is about so much more than putting on the Show each year. Being able to give our local young people opportunities to have a go, learn something new and maybe even discover a future passion or career is something we’re pretty proud of, especially if it links to our local agricultural industry!!

Of course, opportunities like this don’t happen without a bit of help! A huge thank you to Kestrel Coal Resources Community Grant for helping us fund this experience and supporting us to invest in our local youth. 🙌

We love seeing our young people get involved, try new things and make the most of opportunities right here in our own community. This is exactly why we do what we do! 💚

Our chefs have arrived and needed an early morning fuel stop before spending the day with the Marist College hospitality students, starting the prep work for this weekend’s event! Where else should we take the chefs while they are here?

What a lovely surprise this morning to be able to have a talk to a famous celebrity chef that came to have breakfast at our little cafe.
Absolutely lovely people and really great sense of humour.

I heard it was a fantastic night at the taste
