The team at FIN were pleased to attend the Teach the Teacher Tour held on Friday.

The tour provided a valuable opportunity to listen, learn and gain a deeper understanding of on-farm operations from our local growers. Events such as this play an important role in sharing knowledge and strengthening the connection between agriculture and education, helping to shape agricultural learning for generations to come.

We sincerely thank everyone involved in delivering such a well-run and informative tour.

Congratulations to CHCGIA on a fantastic initiative.

Adapting and Thriving in Central Queensland Cotton.

Cropping and irrigation patterns in Central Queensland have changed dramatically over the years. What was once predictable and reliable is now far less certain ; with seasons, weather events, and water availability constantly shifting.

What stands out is the resilience and innovation of our customers. Year after year, they continue to adapt, trial new approaches, and embrace change to keep their crops strong and sustainable.

In cotton especially, evolving practices in soil management, crop rotation, and water efficiency have helped farmers make the most of every drop and every season. These changes haven’t just been necessary, they’ve been successful. Central Queensland growers are proof that when challenges arise, opportunities for smarter farming follow.

👏 We’re proud to work alongside such forward-thinking growers who continue to lead the way in innovation, sustainability, and resilience. FIN are locally owned, supporting locally grown!

Here’s to another season of growth and progress in Central Queensland cotton. 💧🌿
