Celebrating the start of the festive season at the last ECF meeting for 2024. Join us in 2025 as we continue our quest to rebuild the historic cottage in Eltham.

The ECF is delighted to say that we have had some very positive conversations with Lismore Council recently around planning for the use of the railway cottage for when the rail trail comes through. We eagerly await a response regarding the lease for the cottage from Transport NSW. the ECF is not deterred and we continue to raise funds in anticipation or rebuilding the cottage.

During the month of July the ECF is joining with Greater Bank to fundraise. Any help would be appreciated, everybody is able to cast a vote once a day. Recently the window with Queen Elizabeth II on it was removed from the cottage by persons unknown. It was painted by a local resident in commemoration of the Queen's visit to Lismore in 1954 when she rode on the train to Eltham.
