TOMORROW! SUNDAY the 30th of August. Looks like the weather will be fine for our OPEN DAY at Woomera Avenue, Edinburgh, S.A.

Gates will be open from 12 noon until 4.30 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE THAT COVERED SHOES MUST BE WORN FOR TRAIN RIDES. Thongs, open sandals and open-toed footwear aren’t allowed, due to safety regulations.

The entry fee of $12 single; $40 for a family of up to five people (children under 3 years no charge) includes unlimited rides on the model trains.

PENFIELD PARK MODEL TRAIN RIDES OPEN DAY, THIS SUNDAY, THE 30th of August at Woomera Avenue, Edinburgh, S.A.

GATES WILL BE OPEN from 12 noon until 4.30 p.m.

The entry fee is still only $12 single; $40 for a family of up to five people (children under 3 years no charge). This includes unlimited rides on the model trains. PLEASE NOTE THAT COVERED SHOES MUST BE WORN FOR TRAIN RIDES. Thongs, open sandals and open-toed footwear aren’t allowed, due to safety regulations.

After riding on the trains, have a look at the speedway cars, the boys with their toys in the “Penfield Quarry”, and the outdoor garden and indoor HO railways.

Our Canteen will be open for pies, pasties, sausage rolls, toasted sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, and ice creams.

The club rooms provide shelter both inside and under the two verandas if the weather becomes inclement. There are also outdoor shelters in the park area.

SAVE THE DATE!

Penfield Park’s next Open Day will be held on Sunday the 30th of August from 12 noon until 4.30 p.m. at Woomera Avenue, Edinburgh, S.A.

Besides enjoying model train rides, you can check out the boys with their toys in the Penfield Quarry; the indoor and outdoor HO railways; as well as the speedway cars.

We’d like to thank everyone who came along to our School Holiday runs, and a big thank you to all the volunteers who help make our Open Days so successful.

We’re all set to go again this SUNDAY THE 26th OF JULY from 12 noon until 4 p.m.

The entry fee is still only $12 single; $40 for a family of up to five people (children under 3 years no charge). This includes unlimited rides on the model trains.
