The Assyrian Australian Association is thrilled to feature a beautiful showcase of artistic work by Atour Loza Mirad at the 2026 Ashurbanipal Library Awards Night.

With a background in Civil Structural Engineering and Interior Design, Atour brings ancient Assyrian heritage to life through jewellery design and fine art. Inspired by Mesopotamian motifs, sacred geometry, symbolism, and ancestral storytelling, her work beautifully bridges the past and present.

The Assyrian Australian Association is thrilled to feature a special showcase of 3D artistic work by Ninb Adam Mekhael, founder of Lamassu Art, at the 2026 Ashurbanipal Library Awards Night.

Ninb’s 3D art journey began in Syria in 2010. Through war, displacement, and rebuilding his life in Australia, his dream of creating art remained a constant source of strength. Today, he uses advanced 3D printing and digital tools to preserve ancient Assyrian artifacts and share our rich heritage with the world.
