Anglicare Echuca is experiencing an unprecedented increase in demand for its services, with funding under increasing pressure.

To help support people experiencing homelessness, Anglicare Victoria is running a Sleeping Bag Drive throughout July in support of its Echuca and Bendigo homelessness teams, who continue to do incredible work on the front line.

They are currently seeking donations of brand-new (unused) adult sleeping bags, and also welcome contributions of new tents or swags, or financial donations.

Another fantastic industry visit to We Are Vivid on Wednesday!

It was great to learn more about the diverse services they offer — from car washing and cleaning to lawn mowing — and the positive impact they’re making in our community.
We were especially inspired by the clients who shared their personal experiences and journeys into the workforce. VIVID’s approach is clear — they’re not a “forever home,” but a springboard, supporting people to build skills, confidence, and independence.

A great reminder of the importance of local partnerships and how, as a community, we can support and work alongside organisations like Vivid. 👏
