It's Sydney Craft Week, so why not visit the Hand Weavers & Spinners Guild of NSW for Sampling Saturday, 17 October - a welcoming day for spinners, spindle lovers, knitters, and anyone keen to try something new?

10:30 am – 12:00 pm: Learn Spindle Spinning, an easy, encouraging introduction to making yarn with a spindle, led by Caitlin Williams.

12:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Spindle Show-off Party - bring your favourite spindles and share their stories.

2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Knitting Your Handspun, learn approachable techniques and explore simple ways to use handspun yarn with Amanda Murray.

10:30 am – 4:00 pm: Take a Spinning Wheel for a Test Drive, try a range of wheels, and discover their unique features.

It's free and at Brush Farm House, 19 Lawson St, Eastwood NSW. Enter via the Corrective Services driveway and park behind the house.
