Term 4 starts next week and that means our CRU Educational Camps team will be back sharing Jesus with students on camps!

We're so thankful for the hundreds of students who have indicated a decision to follow Jesus or recommitted so far this year. We pray that God would be working powerfully through the team and that we would see many more students making faith commitments.

Our spring CRU Camps have kicked off this week! There's plenty going on, with various activity camps, Study Camps and Day Camps. We're so thankful for the opportunities we have to share Jesus with the campers and pray that they would have a great time away.

Earlier this month, CRU CEO Nick Hood spent a few days on a Year 8 camp as a leader with our CRU Educational Camps team. Here’s what he thought about serving with the team:

"I loved putting on the red leader shirt again and joining our Summit Program trainees for a recent CRU Educational Camp. Their joy, care for students, and passion to share their faith were inspiring. They are an exceptional group of young people, and it was a privilege to serve alongside them. The students and teachers loved the camp, and it was easy to see why."

FIT and InterCRU provide great opportunities for students from different schools to come together to be encouraged from God’s Word as they learn and exercise serving God at school.

We are so thankful to God for the many students who have grown in their faith from attending events so far this year – 1,141 at FIT and 2,447 at InterCRU!

We give thanks to God for Matt Seidl, our CRU Director of Properties, who was honoured with the 2026 Spirit of Sharing Award at the Christian Venues Association Celebration Dinner recently. Nominated by a colleague, the award recognises Matt’s genuine passion and consistent commitment to CRU’s ministry and contribution to the wider Christian camping community. Congratulations Matt!
