Meet Kate - our accountant by day, tofu maker and community gardener on the weekends🌿

Beyond keeping our books in orders, she's an active member of the Piney Lakes Community Garden and volunteers with the City of Melvilles environmental programs.

And she also knows how to make tofu from scratch - learnt through her recent travels to Japan. So of course, she is bringing this to our upcoming Intro to Tofu Making Workshop.

Join Kate for this hands-on class, we promise it would be easier than balancing the excel spreadsheet👀

This Saturday at Perth City Farm🪴

ABC Perth is coming to the Farm for a community plant swap - bring your cuttings and take home something new for your garden. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or just hoping your house plants stay alive, everyone is welcome!

Join us for a farm tour and learn how to take a cutting to grow your own plants at home.

This Saturday Farmers Market will be buzzing as always from 8am with fresh local produce and sustainable goods.

🗓️Plant swap from 8-10am with Sabrina Hahn broadcasting live and markets running Saturday 8-12pm.
🎟️Free entry with tickets essential for the plant swap, please check event page for accepted plant varieties

Our first Farm after Five was a success! 🌿

Thank you for everyone braving the cold and coming out to join in on the fun. The Barn was filled with our line dancers, yoga in the Art Room and delicious bread was getting made in our workshop too! Along with cosy dinners and drinks at .

We are joining ABC Perth for a community plant swap - bring along your cuttings and swap them for something new to take home. A beautiful reminder that growing things is always better when you share them🌻

While you are here, join us for a guided farm tour and learn how to take your own cutting to grow at home - one of the simplest skills you can pick up in the garden 🪴

And of course, the Saturday Farmers Market will be in full swing from 8am - fresh local produce, sustainable goods and the local community all here 🧑🏽‍🌾

Hello to all our new followers here👋🏻 Welcome to Perth City Farm🌿

We are a non-for-profit urban farm in the heart of East Perth - and for over 30 years we've been creating space for people to connect, learn and live more sustainably.

Here's a little of what we do:
🌼 Workshops & Education - from cheesemaking to permaculture and foraging, we love teaching skills that actually change how you live.
✨Venue Hire - our historic Barn, Art Room and beautiful gardens make a lovely space for wedding and events.
🍅Saturday Farmer's Market - your weekly spot for fresh local produce, sustainable goods and community.
🙋Volunteering & Community Groups - from garden volunteers to free social groups, there's always a way to get involved.

Winter at the Farm had been something special this year🌨️

And Christmas in July? It was the perfect way to celebrate it. The Barn was transformed, the mulled wine was flowing and over 150 of you showed up in your most festive outfits over lunch and dinner✨

Every ticket goes straight back to the Farm and the community we are building here together 🌻

And yes... we've already heard the whispers👀 Christmas in December is in the works - watch this space🎄

What a night💃🏽

Over 400 of you filled Perth City Farm for our Winter Ceilidh - and the energy was electric from start to finish! Thank you to every single person who came, dressed up, danced and made the night what it was.

A big thank you The Freo Doctor Liquor Store for keeping everyone refreshed, Perth Metro Pipe Band for setting the tone, Gallus Ceilidh Band for keeping the dance floor absolutely packed all night!

We are already looking forward to next year👏🏼
