Today marks a special milestone for everyone at the Maitland Community Men’s Shed as we celebrate 16 years since our Shed first opened. It is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on how far we have come, what we have achieved together, and the important role we continue to play within our local community.
Over the years, our Shed has become much more than just a place to work on projects. It has been a place of friendship, support, learning, and connection. We have also proudly played an important role in the wider Maitland community, contributing to local events, supporting community initiatives, and providing a welcoming place where people can drop in for a chat and a cuppa. We are proud to be part of a community that values looking out for one another.
As we celebrate this anniversary, it is important to acknowledge and thank all those who have been part of the journey - past and present members, volunteers, supporters, and friends of the Shed. Without their time, dedication, and enthusiasm, the Maitland Community Men’s Shed would not be what it is today.
