Running in Rotary District 9670 for more than 23 years our focus is providing young people between the ages of 14 and 17 an introduction to important life skills through a 3 day live in program in an environment that promotes participation, caring, openness and fun. 1. Rotary Clubs in District 9670 and their Youth Services officer: It is the clubs and their members that select and sponsor the participants of a RYPEN camp. The Youth Services officer is our key conduit to the club and is responsible for getting us camp participants.
2. Schools and teachers: The people at the front line identifying young people who may be best suited to attend a camp and benefit from the RYPEN experience.
3. Parents and Guardians: There is so much that Rotary District 9670 offers and we need to keep people informed about all of the wonderful programs that we offer. By engaging with parents and guardians of RYPEN participants we can work together to develop young people who will take a active roles in our communities
4. Past participants: Past RYPEN participants are a great source for the next camps participants. In association with this page the participants have their own group page, which only past participants can access, to view photos, videos and other information specifically targeted to them.
5. We are fortunate to have a very good relationship with Rotary9670 District leaders. They're always willing to lend a hand, attend a camp presentation or help us get the word out.
