Warrah Society is an experienced provider of quality services and supports for adults and children.

Inspired by the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, Warrah offers a range of flexible and tailored services to support people living with disability. We support individuals in the choices they have made for their life journey and to contribute in their home, school/work, social and community life each and every day. Warrah’s services include Supported Independent Living, Community Support Services, Shor

t Stay accommodation, In-Home Support, Support Coordination and Community Courses and Workshops. The organisation also has a Specialist School which caters for Kindergarten to Year 12 students; and a certified Biodynamic Farm and Farm Shop, selling organic and biodynamic produce. The farm and shop engage people with disability through volunteering and work experience, with profits from the Farm Shop going towards Warrah’s disability services. Warrah is known for its reputation for enriching the lives of people with disability. We believe each individual has the ability to self-determine and contribute to a purposeful life. Our trained and professional staff, empower individuals to explore opportunities, learn new skills, develop social relationships and discover new life experiences.

The Dural Rural Fire Brigade will be joining us at the Warrah Spring Fair next weekend. Kids (and kids at heart) can check out the fire truck 🚒, and maybe even spray the hose! As Spring heats up they'll be sharing advice about bushfire survival plans. Come along! It's going to be a great day.

Could your workplace offer our senior students an opportunity? 💼🌱

For students in the Warrah Specialist School Transition Program, work experience is an important part of preparing for life beyond school.

Whether it’s helping serve lunch and care for gardens at Kings Langley Adventist Aged Care or sorting and packing products at Access Industries , Scope Industries or Endeavour Foundation these opportunities help our students build real life work skills.

We’re incredibly grateful to the organisations who have opened their doors to our students, and we’d love to welcome more.

Work experience doesn’t have to be complicated. A few hours, a simple task or an opportunity to learn alongside your team can make a meaningful difference.

🧵 A special visit from the Arcadian Quilters Guild. 🧵

A big thank you to Gwen, Ann and Phillipa from Arcadian Quilters Inc., who visited Warrah last week to share their love of quilting with our participants.

Our visitors brought along a beautiful selection of quilts, explained the different styles and techniques they use, and shared how each quilt is created. It was a fascinating and engaging session, and our participants really enjoyed meeting them and hearing about their craft.

As a wonderful gesture of generosity, most of the participants who attended were gifted a quilt of their own. 💛

After the presentation, the ladies enjoyed a well-earned coffee and scones at the Waaia Café. ☕️

We are very grateful to Arcadian Quilters Inc. for their generosity and for the beautiful quilts they have donated to our adults and students. Their kindness and craftsmanship are very much appreciated. 🌿🧵
