🌱 Growing More Than Produce 🌱

We are incredibly grateful to Harris Farm Markets Dural for sharing the story of our partnership and helping shine a light on the impact of Warrah Farm.

At Warrah, our Biodynamic Farm provides meaningful opportunities for people with intellectual disability to learn new skills, build confidence, develop friendships, and contribute to their community through hands-on farming, gardening, and production programs.

Through our partnership with Dural, customers can purchase fresh Warrah Farm produce in-store, with every dollar from these sales returning directly to Warrah to support our programs and create more opportunities for the people we support.

This partnership is about so much more than fresh local produce. It’s about inclusion, community, independence, and recognising the incredible contributions people of all abilities make every day.

A heartfelt thank you to the Harris Farm team for championing our mission and helping our produce reach more homes across the Hills District.

✨ Need a break? Our Short Term Respite program is currently taking bookings.

At Warrah, Short Term Respite offers adults with intellectual disability the opportunity to enjoy a safe, welcoming stay away from home while building confidence, independence, and new friendships.

Whether it's trying new activities, developing life skills, connecting with others who share similar interests, or simply enjoying favourite hobbies, every stay is tailored to the individual's needs and goals.

While participants enjoy new experiences and greater independence, families and carers can take some well-deserved time to rest and recharge, knowing their loved one is supported by a caring and experienced team.

πŸŽ‰ Warrah Recognised with Two National Workplace Awards πŸŽ‰

We are proud to share that Warrah has received two national honours in the 2026 Xref Engage Awards: the Change Champion Award and the Best Workplace Award.

These awards recognise organisations that build positive workplace cultures, support their teams, and take meaningful action on employee feedback.

πŸ† Change Champion Award – recognising a 6% improvement in staff engagement across our two most recent surveys.

πŸ† Best Workplace Award – awarded after achieving an average staff satisfaction score of 80%, a result reached by only a small number of organisations nationally.

This achievement reflects the dedication, passion and commitment of our entire team. Together, we are creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported and empowered to make a difference.

For almost 50 years, John Paul has called Warrah home.

What began as a place to learn and grow has become a lifelong community filled with friendship, support, belonging, and opportunity.

Every day, our homes, gardens, pathways, and shared spaces provide a safe and welcoming environment where people can thrive. These spaces play an important role in supporting wellbeing, independence, and connection, yet they receive no government funding for their upkeep.

Before June 30, your tax-deductible donation can help fund essential maintenance, accessibility improvements, safety upgrades, and community spaces that make a meaningful difference to John Paul and many others in our community.

Every gift, no matter the size, helps ensure Warrah remains a place where people feel valued, connected, and at home.

πŸ’š Donate before June 30 and help keep Warrah a place of belonging for generations to come.

Last week, some of our young adult participants had a wonderful visit to the team at Commonwealth Bank in Dural.

It was a genuinely special moment, with our participants warmly welcomed and given the opportunity to meet the team in person. A highlight of the visit was being presented with the CommBank Community Donation.

We are incredibly grateful for this support, and for the time, care, and connection shown by the Dural team. Partnerships like this make a real difference, helping to create more opportunities for inclusion, confidence, and community participation.
