As we reflect on the time we’ve shared together, we've been reminded a lot of things we experienced.

The highs and lows.
The cold and the warmth.
The laughs, the tears, and the conversations in between.

It was a chance to experience what can happen when people come together around a common purpose.

A reminder that connection, shared experience, and a willingness to make a difference can create something powerful.

02/09/2026

In a world that's always connected, finding time to truly connect has never been more important.

When we step away from the constant notifications and distractions, something changes.

Conversations become deeper.
Presence becomes easier.
Young people have the space to reflect, explore, and discover who they want to be.

Sometimes, the most powerful connection begins by switching everything else off.

31/08/2026

Reflection is an important part of the journey, and it looks different for everyone.

After everything we’ve experienced together, we made space for the tribe to pause, reflect and consider what this experience has shifted in them.

Important questions needed to be answered…

What have I learnt about myself?
Why am I here?
What do I want to carry forward?

Taking the time to assess ourselves helps us understand what this experience means, how we want to show up beyond it, and how we can continue to carry out our purpose.

27/08/2026

The impact of our work isn't measured by the days young people spend with us.

It's measured by what they carry home.

The confidence to make better choices.
The courage to show up for others.
The clarity to know who they want to be in their community.

When one young person grows, the ripple reaches far beyond them.

That's what keeps us inspired.

21/08/2026

AdventureWorks began with a simple belief:

That nature has the power to shape lives.

What started as a passion for the outdoors became a mission to give young people something that lasts far beyond the experience itself—a genuine connection to the natural world.

Because when we step away from the noise of everyday life, there's space to grow, reflect, and discover who we are.

Our hope has always been that every young person leaves not only with memories, but with a lifelong love of the outdoors that stays with them for years to come.

19/08/2026

Young people need space.

Space to slow down.
Space to be heard.
Space to ask the questions that don't always have easy answers.

That's what our programs are designed to create. Because meaningful conversations don't happen by accident, they happen when we intentionally make room for them.

Meet Stef! 👋

Stef has been part of the AdventureWorks tribe for several years now, first joining us as a facilitator and spending plenty of time out in the field working alongside students and schools.

These days, he’s an important part of our Program Coordinator team and is often out on program as Camp Director — the main point of contact for teachers, facilitators and the wider team, overseeing all the moving parts that keep a camp running smoothly.

From supporting the facilitation team and managing logistics to keeping an eye on the bigger picture, there’s plenty happening behind the scenes, and Stef brings a wealth of experience from his years in the field to make it all happen.

We’re very grateful to have Stef’s experience, calm presence and commitment as part of the AW team. 💛

Meet Grace! 👋

If you’ve been out on an AdventureWorks program over the past year, there’s a good chance you’ve had Grace bringing plenty of energy, encouragement and good tunes along for the ride.

Grace joined the AW tribe a year ago as a facilitator, jumping straight into programs and quickly becoming a much-loved part of the team. Now, she’s stepping into a permanent role with our Program Coordinator team.

We’re so excited to have Grace bringing everything she’s learned in the field into the team behind our programs.

We’re very lucky to have you, Grace! 💛
