AdventureWorks WA has been the leading provider of contemporary Rite of Passage "Into Adulthood" programs for teens, parents and teachers for over 25 years. We love what we do, and EACH YEAR we directly serve more than 6,000 students, 3,000 parents, and 1,000 teachers. Our programs create a unique environment where students feel empowered to explore and develop critical life skills such as resilience, leadership, and social connection. Our full range of services includes:

Starting high school is a big deal. New faces, new routines, new expectations. For a lot of Year 7s, those first few weeks decide whether school feels like somewhere they belong.

Our one-day team building program gives them a head start.

Inspired by Survivor, students form their own tribes, create a team identity and take on a series of challenges. Along the way they’re listening, sharing ideas, backing each other in and working out that everyone in the group brings something different.

We come to you, whether that’s your school oval, a local park or the beach. No buses and no big logistics, just one full day that sets the tone for the year.

Meet Eva, our newest facilitator. 💚

After her own personal transformation in Borneo and South Africa, Eva came home to Perth searching for a way to help others experience theirs. Her first camp with us? In her words, "absolutely insane!!!"

We're so proud of the team we've built: people who bring kindness, passion and authenticity to every program. Because the adults leading the journey matter just as much as the journey itself.

The greatest shift can happen when students step outside what they know.

Working as a team.
Challenging themselves.
Finding connection in the natural world.

As one Head of Year shared, students arrived with individual expectations, and left with a renewed sense of self and worth.

Because experiences like these can create space for young people to discover not only what they can do, but who they are becoming.

Every camp has activities, and they matter. But the moments that stay with young people are almost always quieter than that. A circle. A fire. A group who've stopped performing for each other because there's nowhere left to perform.

A fifteen-year-old saying something true out loud, and finding out he isn't the only one.

You can't schedule that. You can only build the conditions for it, and then get out of the way.

When a Head of Year says an experience was worth it, they're speaking from a different vantage point to most. They've seen the planning, the risk paperwork, the staffing, the follow-up in the weeks after. They know what it cost the school to make it happen.

So this feedback from Westbourne Grammar means a great deal to us.

Thirty years in, we still believe the measure of a program isn't how impressive it looks on the day. It's whether every single student found a way in, and whether the school would do it again.

When schools ask what makes a camp work, the honest answer is almost always the people running it.

A Year 9 teacher from Westbourne Grammar put it better than we could.

Our facilitators are trained to do far more than run activities. They hold the group, read the room, and create the conditions where students feel safe enough to be honest — with each other and with themselves. That's where the real learning happens.

Every AdventureWorks camp ends with a student survey, and we take what comes back seriously.

We asked which parts of the experience they benefitted from. Students put pushing themselves through challenges at 83%, getting to know new people at 79%, supporting their peers at 67%, and quality time in nature at 63%.

What stands out is how much of that sits in the relational space rather than the activity itself. The challenge creates the conditions; the group is where the learning lands.

That feedback doesn't sit in a report. It informs how we brief facilitators, how we structure group time, and where we adjust the program for the next cohort. Thirty years of this work has taught us that continuous review is the only way a program stays relevant to the young people in front of us.
