Our committee has been out preparing for the event, and after spending time exploring sections of this year’s course, it’s safe to say … we’re very excited about what’s ahead for 2026.

From rugged ridgelines to spectacular Grampians scenery, this year’s route is shaping up to be another unforgettable adventure.

It takes time to make sure you’re properly equipped for Serra Terror, so don’t leave it to the last minute ⛰️

With the remoteness of the track, all teams must carry the compulsory safety items at all times.

Start getting organised now so local businesses have enough of the essentials, like whistles and emergency blankets, when you need them.

This isn’t just a rule, it’s about keeping you and your team safe out there.

Socks… let’s talk about them 🧦

We know you’ve been busy breaking in your hiking boots and runners, but did you know your socks play just as important a role in blister prevention?

As a general rule of thumb, we recommend each participant has at least three pairs of socks per day and changes them at every checkpoint.

When choosing socks, look for breathable materials like wool, cotton, or a Coolmax engineered option. Sneaky tip: toe socks are a game changer and can be picked up at Gen Health Hamilton.
