Thanks to our volunteers for bushcare work on Sunday -targetting Gazania and weeds around our plantings to give them maximum opportunity to thrive by reducing competition for soil nutrients, sunshine and rain. Our bushland is looking spectacular after good winter rains, the installation of a path and a new gate to enable access to people to enjoy the bush. We are looking forward to a bench seat being placed alongside the path in the park area to the east, for relaxation, contemplation and enjoyment of our natural environment.

Thanks to our intrepid volunteers who spent Sunday morning working in our 0.3ha remnant Banksia Woodland - the Duncraig Library Bushland. Bushcare is so satisfying, helping natural regeneration, planting local species and weeding to enable seedlings to thrive. The City of Joondalup has installed a limestone path between the bush and the park to encourage visitors to enjoy this special bushland. Contact us if you would like to get involved. [email protected]
Wattles, Parrot Bush, Native Wisteria are flowering, attracting birds.
