🌭🔥 Tonight our Unit teamed up with 1st Hurstville Rover Crew at Bunnings Warehouse Rockdale, lending a hand on the BBQ for Father’s Night!

Plenty of sizzling snags, great company, and some solid Rover spirit in action. 💪🌟

Sam has been spending some time over in Aotearoa / New Zealand 🇳🇿 and has loved the chance to reconnect with old friends.
On Monday he joined Valley Rovers as they worked on their kai better world badge and last night he shared laughs with Regal Rover Crew during their scavenger hunt around Wellington.
It’s always special to be welcomed back and reminded how strong Rover friendships truly are no matter the distance. ❤️

🌄✨ This past weekend our Unit set out on an epic quest to Greater Western Sydney Region Moot: Lord of the Moots! 🧙‍♂️🍃

It truly was One Moot to rule them all, One Moot to find them, One Moot to bring us all together, and in the fellowship bind them! 💍🔥

We laughed, we adventured, and we may not have reached Mordor… but we definitely made memories worthy of a tale told in the halls of Rovers for years to come.

A special shoutout to Mars from Black Flats Rovers, Victoria 🚀 for joining our fellowship on this journey thanks for travelling all that way to be part of the quest! 🛣️⚜️

80th Anniversary of Victory in the Pacific
Today marks 80 years since Victory in the Pacific, the day the Second World War finally came to an end.

We pause to remember all who served, and especially those who never came home.
Among them are the Scouts from our own 1st Dulwich Hill Group, whose sacrifice is honoured here in our Scout Hall.

🧣🌍 World Scout Scarf Day at the 16th World Scout Moot! 🌍🧣

Morris, our mascot from Dulwich Hill Rovers, has made a new friend Allan, the mascot from Valley Rovers in New Zealand! 🇦🇺🐴🤝🦌🇳🇿

Both rocking their scarves and repping their crews loud and proud here in Portugal. It’s not every day you see an Aussie horse and a Kiwi deer causing mischief together at an international camp!

🌏🔥 Path 33, Representing Australia at the 16th World Scout Moot! 🇦🇺

Over the last four days, are Unit Leader Samuel has been hiking through northern Portugal with 46 Rovers and Path Leaders from 16 countries — as part of Path 33 at the 16th World Scout Moot. The route took them from Arcos de Valdevez to Sistelo, one of Portugal’s most scenic and historic villages. 🥾🇵🇹

Countries represented in the patrol included:

With stunning scenery, international friendships, and plenty of Scouting spirit, it’s been an unforgettable journey.

And in true Aussie style — the Australian Rovers ran an Aussie barbecue one night, bringing a little taste of home to the patrol! 🇦🇺🔥

Plenty of blisters. Plenty of stories. Plenty of Rover spirit.
