A HUGE thank you to everyone who made our recent Community and Volunteering Expos such a massive success!
Whether you joined us as a resident, charity, or Not-For-Profit (NFP) organisation, your energy and passion blew us away.
Our Volunteer in the Dubbo Region team loved seeing so many incredible people come together to connect, celebrate local volunteers, and showcase diverse opportunities!
✨ Expo Highlights:
Dubbo: Over 30 amazing NFP groups joined us on April 30 and June 4, building capacity and sparking exciting new partnerships.
Wellington: Over 10 groups filled the CWA Hall on June 18 for fantastic conversations (and delicious CWA goodies! 🧁). Seeing community groups share resources and plan to support each other's upcoming events was an absolute highlight for us!
A special shoutout to The Centre for Volunteering, Community Connections - Volunteering Information Hubs, and NFP Guide for funding these wonderful events!
🗣️ What’s Next? We want to hear from YOU!
This July, we are hosting Community Consultation meetings in Dubbo, Stuart Town, Wellington, and Geurie (with online options available for those unable to attend in person!).
If you are an NFP organisation or charity representative, we highly encourage you to sign up. These sessions are a dedicated space for deep listening so we can better understand exactly what support your local organisation needs to thrive.
