Our ladies enjoyed something a little different this afternoon....a recipe swap time!
Everyone was invited to bring along a favourite dish and copies of the recipe to share.
Tasty dishes were shared along with great conversation, connections made and recipes taken home to try, all in the beautiful early spring sunshine.
Thanks to Vanessa for a great time together and all the work done to prepare.

STANDING WITH OUR NEPAL FAMILY!

Our hearts are with the people of Nepal following the devastating floods that have impacted communities across the region.

We are incredibly thankful that our GC Nepal churches and families are safe, however many will have friends, family and communities directly affected by the devastation.

Would you join us in praying for those missing or injured, families grieving loved ones, rescue teams and communities still at risk. We pray that in the midst of such loss, people would know the comfort, peace and presence of Jesus.

We’ve also launched a Nepal Flood Relief Campaign to practically support those affected. Every contribution can make a difference, and we’d love our Generocity community to consider how they can give.

Let’s continue to stand with our Nepal family — in prayer and in practical support.

Introducing our first guest speaker for Generocity Conference 2026 - Tim Piesse!

Ps Tim serves as the National Director of Building a Discipling Culture (BDC), which works with over 250 churches in Australia and NZ, across 17 denominations. BDC has an emphasis on equipping churches and leaders to make significant missional impacts in their local communities.

Tim previously served as Discipleship Pastor at Crossway Baptist Church from 2012-2018, making a pivotal contribution to the discipleship journey, and as Creative Ministries and Worship Pastor prior to that. Tim and his wife, Sarah, have four children. We can’t wait to welcome Tim at conference. 🎉

A great message from Ps Geoff yesterday encouraging us to abide in Jesus.
The version of John 15:4-8 pictured uses the word "remain".
You can see how much it is used in such a small section of scripture.
This shows us how important this act is.

Ps Geoff also explained how the branch described in this passage doesn't just spring to life immediately - there is a process to get to the fruit.

The rewards/consequence of abiding can be seen as;
fruitfulness
obedience
fullness of joy
effective prayer
glory given to God
proof of discipleship

With all that is promised to us through the act of abiding, why wouldn't we want to abide (remain) in Christ,

Ladies of Dubbo and surrounds, you are invited to join us THIS MONDAY from 6:45pm at church to pray for our nation.

It’s not a conference. It’s a call. PRAY, FAST, STAND.

In Jeremiah 9, God calls for the women who know how to lament and pray: to rise as spiritual first responders when a nation is in crisis.

She Stands was birthed in Perth in 2025 by Ps Christie Blaikie (State President, ACCWA) and was held again earlier this year in where hundreds of women gathered in response to that call praying, fasting, and standing together. Now, that same call is coming to Sydney (in person) and via livestream at GC Dubbo.

Christie, along with Roz Zaia, Lou Antonius, Michelle Hobbs and Bron Bonnell are preparing this night to call for women across our NSW to rise in prayer with urgency and unity. We are believing for 1000 women to gather and through prayer and worship, see real shift in NSW and the ACT.

Esther 9:1 tells us “On that day the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, but quite the opposite happened. It was the Jews who overpowered their enemies.” Just as Esther saw significant change for her people in one day through praying, fasting and standing, we believe God can use us in the same way in NSW!
