We regret to advise that Mrs Violet Palm has passed away at the age of 102. Mrs Palm served in WW11 and had been an enthusiastic member of the Legacy family for many years. We extend our sympathy to Mrs Palm’s family and friends.

It's with sadness that we advise the death of our Legatee Reserve, Ray Winslow, at the age of 101. Ray served as a Legatee for 65 years and was a valued member of Dubbo Legacy. A WW11 veteran, Ray trained as a Spitfire pilot flying missions in Great Britain. He was presented with Daily Telegraph's The Pride of Australia Editor’s Award for his outstanding community service. Our sincere condolences to Ray's family and friends.

Lovely to celebrate Christmas with some of our widows and our ward. Thanks to Dubbo RSL for providing an enjoyable high tea and to Sarah Drake for entertaining us with a great selection of Christmas songs. Our Legatees wish all our Legacy ladies a joyous Christmas.

It's Legacy Week! Great to catch up with Bert and Phil from Legacy Dubbo today on the main street, outside Centro. Please support Legacy Australia a great cause!

The Legacy Week appeal has been running since the 1940’s and is a time for all Australians to show their support for the widows and children whose loved ones have served our country.

The Legacy badge is a special emblem of support for our veterans’ families, symbolising our nation’s greatest values of mateship, compassion and fairness.

Legacy badges may be little but the funds they raise make a big impact in the lives of our veterans’ families.

Legacy Week is a time to give back to the families of those who have given so much.
