Starting high school is a big deal. New routines, new teachers, new friendships and a whole lot of change can bring plenty of excitement, but also some nerves.
That's why 'Transition to High School' is one of Kids Helpline @ School's most popular Term 4 topics!
Designed for Year 6 students, the lesson helps young people normalise common worries about high school, prepare for the transition, build confidence in making new friends and understand what to expect on their first day, while reinforcing where to go for support when they need it.
Term 4 bookings are now open and filling fast: https://kidshelpline.info/4A8xm4U!

☀️ Bright colors, big smiles, and amazing community spirit! ☀️

We had an incredible day hosting our Coonamble event during the school holidays! It was wonderful seeing so many local young people and community members gather to enjoy the sunshine, get active with games like volleyball, and spend quality time together. A huge shoutout and thank you to our community partners who came along to support, bring the fun (and snacks!), and help make the day extra vibrant and memorable for everyone.

Staying connected, active, and outdoors is such a vital part of supporting youth mental health and well-being.

Thank you to everyone who dropped by and made it such a fantastic success! 💚✨

Your ten minutes could be someone’s whole week ❤️

16/10/2026

It's brave to speak your truth. Not the version you think people want to hear. Not the edited version you've rehearsed a hundred times. Your actual truth, the messy parts included.

Because speaking your truth means risking judgment. It means being seen. It means saying the things that scare you most. That takes courage.

But here's what happens when you do. You give other people permission to do the same. You create space for authenticity. You remind people that they don't have to carry their struggles alone.

Your truth matters. Your story matters. Speak it. 🖤

It's and alongside our partner Industree we believe normalising conversations about mental health is just as important as physical safety. So we merged the two 👏.

Together, we've designed R U OK? PPE to reinforce the importance of checking in with workmates any day of the year.
