Hooray! Playgroup is back this Thursday. We hope you are all rested and keen after the holidays, and that 2026 will be very kind to you. Rhonda, Evelyn, Jan and Kay. will be there to welcome you back. Enrolments are still open if you know of anyone who would like to join us. All the best for a great year. Your vollies.

Happy New Year everyone. We hope you have all had a good break, holiday. We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Haley’s mum and send our condolences and love to her and all the family. 🙏 Playgroup will resume on Thursday, 29/1/26. We have opened enrolments for this year and have 3 new families joining us at present. We are having a working bee tomorrow from 10am to tidy up, sort toys and clean, ready for 29th. The house next door to us has gone, so they must be about to start on the new daycare centre soon. We will miss you all but will stop in to catch up and have a cuppa. All the best to Rhonda, Evelyn, Jan and Kay, they are an amazing team. Love to you all Stan and Sue ❤️🙏

We had a wonderful last day of playgroup for this year. The weather was perfect and we had lots of lovely food for our party. We also sang Happy Birthday to Carter. We are losing some of our children to school and Thursday kinder, next year and we wish them and their families the very best. We will miss them all. Stan and I have retired from PG after 10years . The families gave us a lovely sendoff. We leave it in excellent hands, with Rhonda, Evelyn, Jan and Kay,but we will stop in every so often to check on you all 😂😂 Our enrolments are open again for next year, and we would love new families to join us. Wishing you all a blessed Christmas and safe and happy 2026.

The children decorated the Christmas tree this morning, looks great. They did Christmas craft, Rhonda read them a Christmas story and we sang Christmas songs, Jingle bells being the favourite. Then it was outside on bikes, swings etc. This coming Thursday, 11/12, will be our last for this year. We will have our Christmas party and ask everyone to bring a plate to share. We wish all a very happy and safe Christmas and New Year. ❤️🙏

The children, and parents, had a great time at the Drouin CFA this week. Thanks to Peter and Judy for opening up for us and allowing the children to climb into the fire trucks. Peter gave them a short talk on how they worked and encouraged them to explore. So much fun. This week will be decorating the Christmas tree and the following week, 11/12, will be our Christmas breakup. Please. Bring a plate of food to share. We are now taking enrolments for next year. Fees are $30 per term, payable at the start of term.Keep well everyone. Your vollies.

Another busy day at Playgroup. The children loved decorating gingerbread men today and managed play outside before the rain arrived.Next Thursday, we will be visiting the Drouin CFA. (Next door) we will be going in at 9.30am, so be early. Must sign in at playgroup before hand. Thank you Tamara for making this happen.

This coming week we will be starting to make our Christmas decorations as our final day is on Thursday, 11/12.. We will also be visiting the Drouin CFA, next door before the end of year, for the children to enjoy the fire trucks. Just waiting for the date from CFA. Stan and I are retiring from playgroup on 11/12 after ten and a half years. We were Involved in setting it up initially in 2015 and will leave it in very capable and safe hands with Evelyn, Rhonda, Jan and Kay.

It was a beautiful, warm day for playgroup on Thursday. We all had fun with bubbles. We are still waiting for a response from Drouin CFA (next door) for us to take the littlies in to see the fire trucks. We have been doing it for a few years and hope we can arrange it before the end of term. Keep well everyone.
