We are proud to announce the launch of
THE LIVING ROOM

Many people have been asking, what exactly is “The Living Room”?

After all, Chabad Double Bay already runs classes, dinners, events and community programs, so what’s different about this?

The answer is simple.

Over the last number of years, people have increasingly shifted online. We shop online, work online, watch online and socialize online. But at the same time, many people are feeling a growing lack of genuine connection and togetherness.

Following the tragic events last December, we felt that even more strongly. People became more withdrawn, more isolated and, in many ways, more disconnected from one another.

“The Living Room” is our response to that.

It is a warm, welcoming space at Chabad Double Bay designed to bring people back together, to learn together, eat together, socialize together, watch movies together and simply spend meaningful time together in a positive and safe environment.

Over the coming months, we’ll be unveiling a wide range of programs, evenings, classes, experiences and social events for all types of people and interests.

At its heart, “The Living Room” is about people and connection, brought together through shared experiences, warm atmosphere and good food.
