Dorrigo Lift The Lid Walk is the Sunday 9am from Dangar Falls.

T-SHIRT PICKUP and REGISTRATION. Come on down and pick up your Lift The Lid Walk t-shirt from our Rotary street stall on Friday 16th October - we'll be there from 8.30am to 12.30pm. You can also register, buy a t-shirt/cap, make a donation, enjoy our street stall options or just say hello.
UPDATE: Missy McGuire is offering to drive anyone who can't make it all the way, a ride back from the Rec grounds car park on the community bus. Enjoy the ride back to a delicious sausage sizzle.

The Rotary District 9660 showcase was hosted by Rotary Sawtell and held at the Sawtell RSL on Sunday 11th October 2026.
Rotary Dorrigo had the privilege of showcasing our Rotary Dorrigo annual ball - Michael's image of waltzing to Johnny Cash set the scene 🤣
The whole day was fun and informative.

We will be accepting registrations right up to the beginning of the walk. There will also be an opportunity to purchase T-shirts and caps on the day.

Dorrigo 'Lift The Lid Walk" 2026
It's happening again - Rotary Dorrigo is hosting Lift The Lid Walk for mental health on Sunday 18th October 2026

A WALK not a race - grab your friends, family, sporting groups, work mates and dogs and enjoy a day out for a great cause.

6km (12,000 steps) and will take a leisurely 1.5 - 2 hours to complete (walk as much or as little as you choose)

Crosses one road which will be marshalled to control pedestrians - NO road closures.

Track - pedestrian, pedal, walker, mobility scooter and stroller friendly.

Dogs on-leash are welcome and encouraged.

$30 for adults, kids 15 and under walk for free. Early bird adult ticket sales before September 29th will receive a FREE t-shirt

If you can't attend, but wish to participate, you can choose to sponsor a student via the same online registration.

Register online, with T-shirt collection at our street stall on Friday before the event or on the day.

Support your local community, break down the barriers and stigma associated with mental health and help raise funds for mental health research. Today's research is tomorrow's treatment and cures.

A free sausage sizzle will be available for your enjoyment on completion of your walk. Dangar Falls Lodge coffee van will be supplying that much needed coffee hit (own cost).

What a great day Wednesday 23rd September was in Dorrigo.
It started with the Dorrigo High School Year 12 Graduation Assembly where Dorrigo Rotary Club participated in presenting the 16 students with a small gift of congratulations and good luck for their HSC Exams and their future endeavours.
After a lovely morning tea and a chat, it was over to the Dorrigo Public School , to watch their production of Sir David HattenScarf and the Wonders of the World, where the whole school performed. It is a credit to the school students, teachers and volunteers for such a wonderful performance.
The Dorrigo Rotary Club then hosted the 2026 Rotary District 9660 Cluster 5 Public Speaking, held at the Dorrigo High School library. The 3 very talented young ladies presented their speeches with Ellie Reynolds from Dorrigo High School the winner, Runner Up Charlie McLachlin representing Bishop Druitt College (Year 9) and Finalist Hannah Allen, representing Orara High school (Year 9), all outstanding speakers.
Our German Youth Exchange Student Martha Schenkel gave a presentation on her homeland and hometown. Martha was presented with a few Dorrigo gifts from the Dorrigo Visitor Information Centre by Robyn from Rotary for her to remember her time here when she returns home in early October.
To top the day off, about 27 Rotarians and guests dined at the Dorrigo RSL. A great way to end a very busy, but wonderful day involving young and not young Dorrigonians. From kindergarten to Rotarians in their 70’s and 80’s, it shows what a wonderful community we live in.

All early birds pick up your event t-shirt from the Rotary Dorrigo street stall on Friday 16th October, or on the day.
There will be some extra t-shirts available to purchase at the same street stall.
Grab your family (including your furry family), friends, teammates and neighbours and join us on a walk and talk lifting the lid and stigma on mental illness.
A complimentary sausage sizzle will follow.
