Dingo Conservation Solutions NE NSW Inc. We educate about dingoes and their importance; help find humane and effective solutions to dingo-related problems; and take on rescued dingoes to rehab...

Dingo Conservation Solutions NE NSW Inc. is a non-profit incorporated organisation formed in 2014 on the Mid-Nth Coast of NSW. Some of our aims and objectives are:

To promote and encourage the conservation of the Australian dingo (Canis Dingo) in North East NSW;

To educate local communities about dingoes, their important role in Australian ecosystems, and the threats to their survival. To assist local farmers, graziers and residents in finding humane, ecologically and economically sustainable and effective solutions to the problem of stock loss through predation, or other dingo-related problems;

To inform local communities about the dangers, cruelty, ecological detriment and overall ineffectiveness of baiting programs, and to promote changing government legislation so as to ban the use of ‘1080’ bait (Sodium Fluoroacetate);

To develop and maintain rescue centres for dingoes and dingo hybrids that are rescued from the wild, or from previous captivity, for the purpose of rehabilitation and appropriate placement/re-homing

To recognise and promote the dingo as a culturally significant animal of particular historic, practical and spiritual importance to the Indigenous Australian community.
