Representative Coaches Wanted for our 2026/27 Season. Recruitment is starting early this year.

If you are interested in coaching one of our rep teams, please send your expression of interest either through email ([email protected]) or via our page

We are looking for coaches all divisions
boys & girls ( u12, u13, u14,u16 & u18)

If we are unable to get a coach for that certain age division, unfortunately that age group won’t go ahead.

As our season has finished up, we would like to Thank everyone involved in making our season possible from our wonderful committee team to our refs & ref coordinators, all our players from Aussie Hoops, Mini Defenders & Domestic!

Also, a big thank-you to the parents/siblings who step up into the coaching roles for all our teams.

And not forgetting all the supporters who showed up to cheer the players on, you are all amazing!!

For our Girl Players between the ages of 15 -18 years old

Basketball WA's EmpowerHer Scholarship Program is back in 2026 and this year it is expanding to include the South West and the Goldfields.

A recap on the program...
EmpowerHer is 6 month scholarship for females between the ages of 15 -18 years old that provides access to mentors, athletes, and professionals within the basketball community encouraging young women to stay engaged in the game in various capacities.

In honour of the late Alan “Sprocket” Swarbrick and his long term dedication to basketball on and off the court, we have reinstated our Club Person of the Year Award in 2026

Oliver (Oli) was chosen as the recipient of this award for his dedication & commitment to the Association through his refereeing, support in mentoring our junior referees and helping where ever is needed!

Congratulations Oli on being awarded the inaugural Alan “Sprocket” Swarbrick club person of the year for 2025/26
