ตั้งแต่วันที่ 30 กันยายน 2568 เป็นต้นไป ผู้สมัครขอวีซ่าออสเตรเลียในประเทศไทยสามารถใช้แอปพลิเคชัน Australian Immi App เพื่อส่งภาพใบหน้าและข้อมูลหนังสือเดินทาง
ผู้ที่มีสิทธิ์ต้องเคยให้ข้อมูลไบโอเมตริกซ์ที่ศูนย์เก็บข้อมูลไบโอเมตริกซ์ของออสเตรเลีย (Australian Biometric Collection Centre: ABCC) และถือหนังสือเดินทางที่ยังไม่หมดอายุ
แอปนี้สามารถสแกนหน้าที่ระบุข้อมูลส่วนตัวในหนังสือเดินทางของผู้สมัคร อ่านชิปอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในหนังสือเดินทาง(ถ้ามี) และถ่ายภาพใบหน้าผู้สมัครได้
การสมัครวีซ่าครั้งถัดไปสามารถทำผ่านแอปได้โดยไม่ต้องไปที่ ABCC ซึ่งช่วยลดค่าใช้จ่ายและเวลาในการสมัครวีซ่า
เด็กอายุต่ำกว่า 5 ปีทุกคนสามารถส่งข้อมูลไบโอเมตริกซ์ใบหน้าและหนังสือเดินทางผ่านแอปได้ แม้จะไม่เคยไปที่ ABCC มาก่อน

From tomorrow 30 September 2025, Thai visa applicants can use the Australian Immi App to provide their facial image and passport details.
To be eligible, you must have previously provided biometrics at an Australian Biometric Collection Centre (ABCC) and hold a valid passport.
The app provides the ability for applicants to scan the biographic page of their passport, read their passport e-chip (where available) and capture a facial image.
Subsequent visa applications can be done using the app rather than attending an ABCC, reducing the costs and time associated with a visa application.
All children under five years of age are also eligible to submit their facial biometrics and passport details through the app, even those who have not previously attended an ABCC.
