Meet Comet, Bruno's bestie. Comet had an eye injury as a kitten that has taken many months to heal. That injury caused scar tissue to form that has his third eyelid stuck to his eye socket.

On Monday, Comet is having surgery to release the scar tissue and improve his vision.

The estimated cost for surgery is up to $1,169.

***Andre and Samantha update***
Our ex death row poundies are doing well on their socialisation journey!

It is time Andre and Samantha to go to the vet for desexing etc! What people don't often realise is we do not get any government funding, and adult adoption fees never cover the cost of vet work, let alone all the other costs like food, litter, flea and worm treatment etc. We rely on donations to be able to continue doing the work we do.

Andre's procedures will cost us $229 and Samantha's will cost $269. Can you help alieviate this financial burden by chipping in?

WEDNESDAY NEEDS A HOME!

When Wednesday came into our care, we’d describe her as a spitfire. We are literally lost for words as to how far she’s come. We are also bewildered as to how she hasn’t yet found her fur-ever home!

Gemma was a scared colony cat, scavenging scraps in a supermarket carpark.

It took a little while for her to learn to trust people, but now that she is comfortable, her sweet nature has begun to shine! Gemma is in care with colony mates Boss and Bowie in case you are looking for a pair. However, Gemma also makes friends with cats easily and would settle in to a home with a kitty buddy. She would not be suited to being an only cat.
