With winter behind us, we’re heading back to the park for Sizzle & Play every Tuesday 🌭🛝

This month, we’re also celebrating Women’s Health Week with a special Pilates session and general health checks. 💕🧘‍♀️
✨ Bookings are essential for the Pilates session, so be sure to secure your spot!

A huge thank you to Senator Josh Dolega for helping the Devonport Community House celebrate Wear It Purple Day today!
We were lucky enough to receive some amazing goodie bags for our teens, along with some fabulous bunting to help brighten up the House. 💜🏳️‍🌈

Tara and Kim also got into the spirit and proudly wore purple today! 💜

Women's Health Week is coming up soon and we would love for you to join us at the Devonport Community House on the 10th September for a health check and a pilates session.
1.00 - 2.00pm: Our health checks will be conducted by a local 3rd year nursing student and pharmacist. Checks will include basic observations such as blood pressure, respiratory rate, oxygen saturations, blood glucose etc. No bookings required, just pop in.
2.00 - 3.00pm: An exercise class is something the community have asked for, and this is a perfect way for you to try it out. Pilates is a low impact exercise which focusses on core strength, flexibility, posture, and controlled movement. The session is FREE and will be facilitated by a qualified Pilates Instructor. Spaces are limited and bookings are essential.

Well, that’s a wrap! 💛 Our Together at the Table event has come to an end, and what a lovely week it has been, sharing cultural meals, stories and connection with our community.

Today we cooked up a delicious Greek dish, Pastitsio, to finish the week on a wonderful note! 🇬🇷

A huge thank you to all of our amazing cooks and volunteers who helped make the week such a success, and to everyone in our community who came along, shared a meal and helped create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

It has been a beautiful celebration of culture, food and community. ❤️

Together at the Table was a success! 🌏🍴
