We are looking for one more marshal for our boat ramp.
Otherwise we will see first timers at 7:50
And every one else for run brief at 7:55 for our 8:00am start

We are back ! Devonport parkrun is going ahead on Saturday. Assistant Run Director Bobby has been guarding the gear in preparation ! Big thank you to the Devonport City Council for repairs to the path. We still need the following volunteers to make it happen:
- 1 Pedestrian Crossing Marshal
- Photographer

* Event Cancelled 30/5/26 *

You may have noticed that the Devonport City Council is doing some much needed and very exciting upgrades to pathway along Victoria Parade.

While there is a detour in place, there are a number of hazards and it won’t be appropriate to have 200+ people walking and running through there together. parkrun will be cancelled this week, 30th May and we will keep you updated for next week. This could be a great chance to visit one of our close neighbors at Bells Parade, Railton or Port Sorell.

This week is actually our 11th Anniversary at Devonport! We’re looking forward to celebrating with a fantastic upgraded pathway soon!

Congratulations to the 194 people who ran and walked the course this morning. We welcomed visitors from Hobart and Melbourne. Big thank you to all our volunteers who did their part in National Volunteer Week.

We were also joined by 8 doggos - Miller, Angus, Hugh, Sasha, Milo and Tess. Ever reliable Molly and Bunny helped out with Marshalling and Tailwalking.

As announced this morning, we will be liaising with the Council about work beginning on the path on Monday, resulting in closures and detours. We will post later next week about whether we can go ahead next Saturday.
