Cheryl McMillan - Edward River Council 2026 Senior Volunteer of the Year Winner.

Cheryl has made a tremendous contribution through decades of dedicated service. Through her work with Rotary, where she serves as Youth Chair and Membership Chair, Cheryl has championed leadership and growth for others.
Her volunteering spans many areas, including schools, the show society, the swimming centre and the CWA.

We’re all about giving back — and we mean big time. Every year, tens of thousands of dollars go straight back into the Deniliquin community 💛

From supporting Orana and Navourina to helping grow our community garden 🌱 — that’s just the beginning.

You’ve probably seen us behind the trusty BBQ 🔥, but we’re also the people behind events like:
🎨 The Easter Art Show
🎣 The Fishing Classic
🚜 Catering at the Ute Muster

None of this happens without our incredible volunteers 🙌

So if you’re looking to be part of something bigger than yourself, to make a real difference locally… we’d love to meet you.
