Good afternoon

As much as we love our faces in the paper and some good ole advertisement of what we are doing and have done.

The mention of us in the local paper last week, was correct that we had been successful with a grant with FRRR for food security however this grant we received at the end of last year and the funds have been used for our previous food security project that ended in December last year, this assisted us to set up our program and helped us provided all the hampers we gave out in 2024.

sadly due to other issues we faced in 2024 that had been very challenging for us to keep the hub and the food relief program being suspended till we work out a new plan.

We would love to thank the pastoral times paper for their ongoing support but the grant was not received recently.

I was wondering why people were congratulating me and stating I was on the paper lol I thought it was for another committee I was on as they had received a grant too 🙂

Much love

Sheridan x

🌸Apologies I didn’t have the toys out for today to give out and a lot of families coming in to ask about them.

🔆Due to huge demand and small donations of toys coming in this year.

🔆We will be distributing the toys by their age and gender groups
And handing out age appropriate toys in a small hampers (2-3 toys per child) we are limited in age groups which means we can only help with ages 0-10 this year.

🔆Toy hampers will be given out till they are gone.

Can you please message me your child’s age, gender and time of pick up for Sunday 22nd.
10-12pm.

This is for community hub members, who have accessed our Hub relief programs before & are registered via sending a message or email

Sheridan has came to the decision to end the lease at the hub. This is something she did not want at all. But this is our reality being a non funded group.

But our wonderful committee and our commitment to our community will continue remotely for now, just no public venue for now.

Our last hamper & period pad support will be on the 15th December.

Thank you for all your support and all of our beautiful participants who have doubled in numbers over the last few months.

Please access local food relief and Xmas toy supports this year if you are needing them 🩷
