MORE ABOUT TODDLE INN ....
Toddle Inn Childcare Centre is a not for profit, community based and managed service. Our emphasis is on building genuine reciprocal relationships with families and community that are strengthened and sustained over time. Families are strongly encouraged to participate in the centre. Educators and committee members meet on a regular basis to discuss issue arising from
Toddle Inn, evaluate and reflect on current theories and practices. Toddle Inn regularly observes, documents and evaluated all practices using the seven quality areas in the National Quality Standards developed by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority. This ensures we are continually updating and improving the quality of service and standard of care we provide at Toddle Inn Childcare Centre. At Toddle Inn we cater for children across the ages from birth to 12 years. Toddle Inn consists of three generous indoor playrooms:
Possum Room: 0 to 2 years
Penguin Room: 2 to 3 years
Platypus Room: 3 to 5 years
We provide a warm, safe, caring and stimulating environment through strong and secure relationships with qualified educators. We believe when children develop a sense of Trust and feel safe to explore, they learn more about their community, themselves and the world. Our Educators are committed and encouraged to pursue ongoing training and learning in the early childhood sector. ACTIVITIES .....
A large fixed play gym is the centre piece of the outdoor activity area. Children develop motor skills and problem solving skills on the purpose built equipment. The Large sandpit encourages imaginative play and team work while the bicycle track allows children to ride in a safe environment. Children learn about the world of growing plants in the large vegetable garden. The garden is used to instill an understanding of healthy eating and the importance of our living environment. Older children attend pre-kinder classes at the local Deloraine Primary School and spend time at the community garden and local Aged care facilities. This allows the children to develop social skills in the safe environment while under the supervision of Toddle Inn's qualified staff. VISITS ...
Children delight at visits to the Toddle Inn from the Fire Brigade, The Tasmania Police and many others. These events allow children to learn about the world around them. There are also fun visits from the Easter Bunny, and Santa Claus. Government rebates apply to approved families.
