🌮 A Mexican Fiesta at Street Mission Dee Why! 🇲🇽❤️

Last Wednesday, our Dee Why Café turned up the heat with a delicious Mexican-themed night! 🌶️

Our guests enjoyed a feast of chicken fajita trays, beef nachos, bean nachos, chicken tacos, sausages & bacon, alongside fresh street corn salad, bean & corn rice and steamed greens.

And of course, we couldn’t finish the fiesta without dessert! 🍎🍰 Cinnamon sugar cake, apple & blackberry crumble and fresh fruit salad rounded out the night.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who put so much love into preparing, cooking and serving another wonderful meal. 💙

There’s nothing quite like sharing good food, great company and a little Mexican flair with our community. 🌮✨

10 cents doesn’t sound like much... until thousands of people come together. 💚
Imagine if:
♻️ 100 containers were donated = $10
♻️ 1,000 containers = $100
♻️ 10,000 containers = $1,000
Every bottle, can and carton you recycle helps Street Mission continue serving our local community with meals, essential supplies and compassionate support. Big change really does start small.

Next time you recycle, choose Street Mission and help turn your empties into hope.

♻️ Your recycling can now help feed someone in need.

We’re excited to announce that Street Mission is now an official Return and Earn donation partner! Every eligible bottle, can and carton you recycle is worth 10 cents. Instead of keeping your refund, you can now choose to donate it directly to Street Mission.

Those small donations quickly add up to:
🍽️ More hot meals
🧥 More clothing and essential supplies
❤️ More support for people experiencing hardship across the Northern Beaches.

It only takes a few seconds to make a difference.
Together, we can turn everyday recycling into real impact.
